About Michael Hockett

A Virginia entrepreneur with decades of experience in the software and auto auction industries, Michael Hockett began his recent investment ventures from Chesapeake, Virginia, in 2015. Through the purchase of several properties to serve as vacation rentals, Michael Hockett began earning an income that allows him to continue building wealth while funding the construction of churches in countries around the world.

Previously, Mr. Hockett served as the president of Tidewater Auto Auction. His prior positions include director of quality control at ADESA Auctions Corporation, general manager at ADESA Auto Transport, and senior analyst at Harbert International. He also founded Eagle Automation and pioneered development of the first computer software system for auto auctions, known as AuctionMaster.

In his leisure time, he enjoys spending time on lakes with his pontoon boat, traveling to the Bahamas to visit different islands, and spending time with his wife. A private pilot with a sport pilot rating, he flies his personal aircraft, a seaplane and a Malibu M350, to explore waterways in the local area.
